umm...
does it really surprise you that much that I don't really know what to say about my first time to go to a psychiatrist, or as it happens to be, a licensed professional counselor? All i know is that I feel like stabbing something, really hard, and watching it bleed. All so that I can feel happy that there's something else bleeding besides me. Yeah, I know, weird. But hey, it's me, so...
The tables really got turned though. For once in the emotional conversation, I wasn't the one crying. Weird. But, really, I can't get into much detail about what went on for my 'rents, just me. It's that whole confidentiality crap i have to do.
As for what went on for me. Not much. I just tried talking and tuning my parents out and what they would think out as i talked. Then, when they talked, I detached myself away from... myself... (sure, we'll go with that), and watched it from "a distance"......
ummm...
Yeah, there was actually a lot of repressed hostility (what would the people of NP say to that?!?), and a lot of other emotions flying. I am actually pretty good at withholding my emotions when i put my mind to it. Which is cool. I ought to do that more often.
What more is there to write? I have another appointment next Tuesday (an a-day again, my spanish grade is going nowhere but down) at 3:00. so, unless i have any deep profound revelations before then, (in the words of my good friend Rachel), "peace, love, and hot tamales!"
